Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh and businessman Wale Jana are two of the popular faces who are unable to withhold their joy.
The elated socialites took to their respective Instagram accounts to celebrate after a Federal Capital Territory High Court dismissed Busola Dakolo’s rape case against Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Recall that Timi Dakolo filed a case against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly over an alleged rape.
However, Justice Oathman A. Musa, in giving the judgment, held that the matter amounts to injustice and an abuse of judicial process, adding that the case is empty and purely sentimental.
Reacting to the latest development, Tonto and Wale Jana who are members of Fatoyinbo’s church, took to their individual IG pages to pen down their opinion on the court’s judgement.
See their comments below:
Dakolo filed the suit against Fatoyinbo after alleging that he raped her in 2002 and caused her emotional distress.
Fatoyinbo’s team of lawyers, led by Dr Alex Izinyon (SAN), had however argued that the prayers in the suit were ungrantable by the court and that the suit was frivolous and an abuse of court process.
The COZA Pastor wasn’t in court because he’s not required to appear in person for a civil matter. He was however represented by his lawyers.
Fatoyinbo denied the allegations and even took a break from the pulpit and later came back to ministration.
